Miriam Meckel is a member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Publizistik- und Kommunikationswissenschaft (DGPuK) and the International Communication Association (ICA). She belongs to the Board of Message, the International Journal for Journalism and to the Board of the Institut zur Förderung publizistischen Nachwuchses (IfP), Munich. As a member of the international Jury of the Development Gateway Foundation at the World Bank she helped to initiate and develop the Development Gateway Award (Petersberg Prize). |
